As with the others who have come before me, I would like to observe all the protocols and welcome you to this auspicious event. I will keep it very brief and start by thanking everyone, not least our most honourable speakers but also all of you for taking the time to be here.
This is a really exciting moment for Barbados, and also the region, in terms of developing professional ADR services, which can’t be achieved simply by the establishment of an organisation. A part must be played within that vision by a number of related persons and entities. And so I look forward to working closely with all of you and to your assistance in helping us build something that can be lauded for it’s achievements in the near future.
